Chad L Follis D.D.S.
Dr. Chad Follis attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for his undergraduate studies where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in 1999. While there, he was awarded the Pierre Fauchard award for most outstanding clinical performance and served as the President of the Honor Council. Following his graduation, Dr. Follis served as an associate dentist for one year before opening his Franklin practice in the fall of 2000.
Dr. Follis is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which emphasizes the continued pursuit of excellence in cosmetic dentistry. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society. Dr. Follis is actively involved in the Pinnacle Study Club, which is a collaborative effort of local dentists and specialists to provide complex restorative dentistry to patients who otherwise could not afford treatment. His passion is to provide beautiful and exceptional dentistry in a warm and friendly environment.
Dr. Follis and his wife, Darby, have a beautiful daughter, Grayson, and son, Griffin. In their leisure time, they enjoy spending time together as a family.

Dr. Darby Follis is originally from Arkansas. She graduated summa cum laude from Arkansas Tech University and mangna cum laude from the University Of Tennessee College Of Dentistry. She and Chad met in dental school in Memphis, TN. They were married while in school there and after graduating in 1999, they decided to make the Franklin area their home. They share their home with their daughter, Grayson, and son, Griffin.
Darby previously practiced in Columbia, TN for 9 years prior to joining Chad in his Franklin office in 2008. Adding her to the practice has allowed us to open the office on Fridays, increasing our availability to our patients. Darby has a passion for people and enjoys the opportunity dentistry provides for her to interact with others. She enjoys trying to make her patients as comfortable as possible. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and focuses on cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
